I have also been fascinated with the secret life of "found" objects since I was a child. I always had a special drawer in my desk dedicated to my collection that would later grow exponentially with the adult purchase of a house with a basement.
When I'm not making jewelry, it is an endless wonder to create a greater whole from the amalgamation of the various pieces I find and sculpt. I like to bring attention to the unique details of an object that often go unnoticed in its role as part of something else. In combining disparate parts, a more interesting story can be told. Texture rules my world.
